Golden Cubit Vein Found on a Number Square

Golden Cubit Vein Found on a Number Square. First, what is a vein of gold? In geology, a vein is a distinct sheetlike body of crystallized minerals within a rock. Veins form when mineral constituents carried by an aqueous solution.  Then they are deposited within the rock mass are deposited through precipitation. The hydraulic flow involved is usually due to hydrothermal circulation.[1]Below the element deposited in the rock is gold.

By analogy, the 3 x 3 magic square becomes the bedrock that yields golden wisdom of antiquity. This becomes understandable in light of the  the featured picture

Frequently, magic squares were divided into corners and gnomons. For today’s post,  the four corner numbers are 5,7,1,6. That comprises teh four numbers of the lower right corner. The gnomon becomes the remaining five numbers : 8,3,4,9,2.  Abu Mūsā Jābir ibn Hayyān  has documented much from the past on these two mathematical terms for number squares. . Pictured below, his his Latin name, Geber.

Two Ancient Reads From One Number Set

Abu Mūsā Jābir ibn Hayyān  was also known by the LatinizationGeber. He was a polymath: a chemist an alchemistastronomer and astrologerengineergeographerphilosopherphysicist, and pharmacist and physician. He has been described as the father of early chemistry.[7][8][9]

Let’s Dig for some Cubits in Our Golden Cubit Vein

  • Take our four chosen corner numbers from the lower right. Then multiply them as 5 x 1 x 7 x 6 = 210. The Palestinian cubit is 2.107 feet.
  • Take the five numbers in the remaining gnomon. Multiply them as 4 x 3 x 8 x 9 x 2 = 1728. The larger Egyptian cubit equals 1.728 feet.

Other cubits are to be found, but those are for another post. So why did so much in antiquity draw from the simplest of number squares? Balance is the law of nature. This number square is the ultimate model of balance. This number square is just waiting for reactivation in the present to bring about the peace and plenty we’ve all been waiting for. It provides us with a new vision from our distant past. Quite possibly it goes back to Atlantis.
